Utilizing Connected Drive Recorders (Dashcams) as Edge AI Camera

In the JVC KENWOOD pavilion, Cybercore will display edge AI solutions using our own lightweight AI technology. The lightweight AI application running on the communication type drive recorder enables solutions for various applications.

1) Data Privacy Protection
We are introducing an approach that uses edge AI technology to mask the privacy information of pedestrians and vehicles in drive recorder images simultaneously. Since privacy-protected video and image data can be transmitted, it is expected to be used smoothly for big data.

2) Contribute to solving business issues through human flow detection
We are presenting a solution in which edge AI in the drive recorder performs real-time human flow detection. It analyzes and aggregates video data in real time and sends only statistical data to the server. The aim is to contribute to solving business issues by detecting congestion in stores, factories, logistics centers, etc.
